Our Story

We are Bruce and Ashley, the husband-and-wife team behind Nature’s Flame. Based right here in Marion, Iowa, we are busy raising our family, working our day jobs, and pouring our hearts into this growing brand.

Nature's Flame officially began in 2025, sparked by a simple, shared love for home fragrance. There is something truly magical about lighting a wick and letting a beautiful scent transform the mood of a room. That passion brought us together in a new way, allowing us to dive headfirst into our entrepreneurial spirits and get involved in our local community. What started as a love for burning candles quickly turned into a desire to create our own.

Our Mission: Making a House a Home

Your home should be your sanctuary—inviting for your guests and completely relaxing for you. From day one, our biggest priority has been getting clean, comforting aromas into your space.

To do that, we focus on what really matters: clean fragrances, all-natural soy wax, and highly functional products. Whether it is our hand-poured candles, our wax melts, or our room and linen mists designed specifically for odor removal, we want to give you the best possible experience without the guilt of harmful additives. Just as importantly, we strive to keep our entire collection affordable. Everyone deserves a warm, beautifully scented home.

The Hustle Behind the Scents

Building a business from the ground up is hard work. As a true 50/50 partnership, Nature's Flame is our shared passion project. Our evenings, weekends, and spare moments are dedicated to making this dream a reality.

Everything you see from Nature's Flame is done in-house and by hand. From testing and blending our signature scents, to hand-pouring the wax, designing the labels, and boxing up your orders, it is just the two of us. We know how difficult it is to grow a small business in the current economy, but we believe in the quality of what we are making and are willing to put in the late nights to see it succeed.

Growing With Your Help

As a self-funded, family-run business, we rely entirely on the power of our community. We are actively working to grow our brand through social media and word of mouth. Every time you tell a friend, share a post, or leave a review, it breathes life into our business.

Our ultimate goal is to continue expanding our product lines and, eventually, see Nature's Flame become a way to fully support our family's livelihood. We are profoundly blessed by the community that has rallied around us, and we are deeply grateful for everyone who supports us in any capacity.
